Investors & Business Expansion

The Invest East Yorkshire team is all about supporting economic growth, either by attracting new investors to the East Riding, or supporting our existing business base with expansion projects.

The team works with both internal and external partners to meet individual client requirements. Support is tailored to meet the needs of each client and can include advice on available land and property, links to local supply chains, sourcing financial assistance, assistance to recruit/train workforce, skills advice and relocation support. Recent investments include Siemens Mobility, Tricoya, Pensana and Croda.

Love Your High Street

This initiative provides funding to support projects that will help to revive our high streets. Offering support to local businesses, town/parish councils and organisations who can make a difference. Whether it’s tidying up a shopfront, launching a new business with a difference or creating an event to attract more visitors, projects can qualify for grants up to £10,000 if all requirements are met.
